LIZ KARN

Working from wholly owned, modern headquarters near Colchester, the team at Merit is headed up by Liz Karn who established the business in 1987. Her previous experience in the promotional clothing industry motivated her to set new standards in production, design, quality and customer care. On achieving these objectives Liz built up an envied blue-chip client list resulting in a growing turnover, which doubled in size between 1999 and 2002 alone.

Liz’s efforts and contribution to the industry were recognised in 1998 when she was elected as Chairman of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA).

Supported by a strong and stable workforce, Merit remains an independent, privately owned company under Liz’s leadership.
